BLUE RUIN TRIO is an exciting original band formed in Austin, Texas in January 2003. This three-piece plays a unique Texas blend of rock, pop, and blues. 

CHAD HEBERT, singer/songwriter/guitarist, has been writing and performing his own music for over ten years.  He started playing at 17 with bands in high school. He continued playing professionally in Houston until 1996. Chad then moved to Austin to attend college and play music. 

DREW EMMONS, bassist, got his start in Houston as well.  He first picked up the bass at age 14 and learned the ropes during his high school years.  He joined his first gigging band in college at SFA in 1992.  Drew came to Austin in 2001 to start a professional music career and met Chad and Josh in 2002.

JOSH PASELK, drummer, hails from El Paso.  He got an early start as a Christian musician and eventually decided to lend his talents to groups outside of the church.
